Privacy & GDPR

Roadtrip DJ is built on the principle of minimal data storage.

What we store

  • Spotify user ID (so we can fetch your music)
  • Metadata about trips and participants
  • Playlist references (Spotify IDs)
  • Temporary, encrypted OAuth tokens

What we do NOT store

  • Music files or audio streams
  • Passwords
  • Personal data beyond what Spotify exposes

Temporary Spotify access

When you connect Spotify to a trip, access only applies during the trip dates. When the trip ends the access token is revoked, the refresh token is deleted, and we can no longer read your playlists. You can disconnect manually at any time via 'Disconnect now' on the trip page.

  • Request deletion of everything
  • Withdraw consent at any time
