Terms of use

The Free tier is supported by ads and personalization. By creating or joining a trip on Free you agree that we may:

• Use your in-app activity (taste signals from Spotify, voting, listening time, trip metadata) to personalize ads inside Roadtrip DJ.
• Share aggregated, non-identifying audience signals with ad partners.
• Show audio and visual ads between tracks and inside the app.
• Use anonymized usage data to improve recommendation quality.

We never sell raw personal data, never share your email or contact info with advertisers, and you can switch to Premium at any time to turn this off.

• Up to 5 participants per trip
• 1 active trip at a time
• 1 auto-mix per trip (basic balancing only)
• No AI DJ, no advanced mood mixes, no trip recap
• Standard skip threshold options only (advanced governance is Premium)
• Ads between tracks and on the trip dashboard

Premium removes ads and the data-for-ads terms above, unlocks unlimited participants and trips, full AI DJ, advanced mood mixes, trip recap, and the full set of skip-governance settings.

You can withdraw the Free-tier ad-personalization consent at any time by upgrading to Premium or by deleting your account. Your trip data will be removed within 30 days of deletion.
